How to Adjust Your Screamer Sex Swing | Tips for Comfort & Safety

The Screamer is one of the most adjustable swings we sell. In this video, I show you how to use that range, from setting the right height to laying almost completely flat. Everything here works on both the Screamer Dual Hook and the Screamer Single Hook.

Chain: the dual hook comes with two pieces of chain, one for each side, and the single hook comes with one, which goes above the bar. Clip the carabiner lower on the chain to drop the whole swing down. In the video, it goes almost to the floor, with room to spare.

Set the height first: adjust everything so the seat sits at about pelvic height for the partner who’s standing. The alligator clips make small changes easy, and they give you much more range than most swings.

Headrest: every Screamer from us comes with a free headrest. Raise it or lower it depending on how upright or flat you want to be.

Handles and stirrups: the handles unclip from the carabiner and move anywhere, which is great for matching them to your height when you’re using the squatting attachments. Stirrups can clip as high as the bottom of the spring, or even to the top of your stand or hook.

Safety note: make adjustments with nobody sitting in the swing. Our safety tips video shows why.

Once it’s set up, here’s how to use it:

  • Semi-recline: the standard setup, with the seat under your bottom, a strap behind your back and the headrest under your head. This is how most people use the swing.
  • Lay flat: lower the chain and raise the headrest so one strap sits under your butt, one in the middle of your back, and one supports your head and neck.
  • On top: set the handles to your height and add the squatting attachments for balance and bounce.
  • Legs up high: clip the stirrups up near the spring for a big leg lift.

Today I'm going to talk to you about the adjustability of the Screamer Dual Hook and the Screamer Single Hook. Now, the single hook and the dual hook come with chain. The dual hook comes with two pieces of chain, one for each side, and the single hook comes with one piece of chain. So for the single hook, you would put the chain above the bar, and it would drop it down. And in this case, we would put it over here, off of the springs.

This is the most versatile swing design on the planet. Everything detaches, so it's washable. It's great. Handles can be adjusted to any location, the stirrups can be adjusted. This one, I have the headrest on, because on our site you do get a headrest for free, so the headrest is on this one.

And sometimes people like to lay more flat, but at this level, at this height, without using the chain, you can't do that, because you can see it's adjusted all the way out. So this would be pretty much a standard semi-recline position, where your bottom's here, your back's here, your head's here, and in most cases, that's how you would use it. But sometimes people want to lay a little bit more flat, and to get the headrest down further, this swing has great adjustable range.

So you're going to unclip the carabiner and clip it down at the bottom of the chain. Now you're like, well, that's going to hit the floor, but it's okay, this swing is super adjustable, so don't worry, we have saved the day here. So now it is almost all the way to the floor, and even if I did extend it even more, see, I have another, I don't know, 8 inches I can extend it down to the floor.

So what we're going to do here is, we're just going to adjust everything up, and you want to get it to basically the pelvic height of the person who would be standing. And these have these little alligator clips on them, and they're super amazing, because they adjust so much, and we have so much space with these, and a lot of swings, you don't have that ability. So we're just going to make everything the same level here. And so see, we're already pretty much all right here.

So now we need the headrest. The headrest is in here, and we are going to adjust this up... there we go, that side, just the side up. So now if you wanted to lay in it, you literally could lay flat in this one, with one under your butt, one in the middle of your back, and then one supporting your head or neck, and then that would be perfect.

The handles can also be moved wherever you like, and I think it's easier to take them off the carabiner, like that, but whatever works for you. So if you wanted them up high, they could be here. Sometimes when using squatting attachments, people really want to adjust the handles at certain lengths, based on how tall you are, so that's really great to be able to do.

And then the stirrups. I'm one that likes my stirrups really high, so I can even clip it in the bottom of the spring, and my stirrups would be out here. Plus, they adjust a great amount, so they can come way out, and you can even clip them all the way to the top of the stand, or your hook, or whatever you have. I'm not tall enough to reach the top of my stands, and my husband does that for me, but this swing just has so much adjustability. It's amazing. So this is the Screamer Dual Hook. Also, the same situation can happen on the Screamer Single Hook.
